New Year 2020: Sonali Bendre And Fam Seek Blessings At Golden Temple; Actress Celebrates Her 45th Birthday
Sonali Bendre turned a year older on January 1 and instead of organising a lavish bash, she flew to Golden Temple to seek blessings of the almighty. Accompanying her was her family husband Goldie Behl, son Ranveer Behl and mother-in-law. She shared a series of pictures on her Instagram account
Sonali Bendre has been an inspiration to many for her courageous battle against cancer and emerging out of it as a winner. Ringing in her 45th birthday on January 1, she took a religious trip to Golden Temple, Amritsar to kick start the new year. Accompanied by husband-filmmaker Golide Behl, son Ranveer Behl and her mother-in-law, the actress took to her social media account to share pictures from the trip. She looked all happy and at peace in the series of pictures shared on her Instagram account.
Captioning these pictures, she wrote, “2020” and “Gratitude”, with wishes pouring in for the diva. Yash Raj Films’ Casting head Shanno Sharma, her friend Shweta Nanda Bachchan and Maheep Kapoor wished her on her birthday by leaving comments and emojis on her post. In the pictures, we can see Sonali sporting a grey scarf around her head, while her son and husband sporting turban, as they seek blessings at the Golden temple. Being detected with cancer in the year 2018, the actress had flown to New York for the treatment and had informed her fans with a long post on her social media. Post her return to the bay, the actress has been stepping out and actively participating in various chat shows to speak about her battle and encourage people to fight courageously against the deadly C. Also to some extent it won’t be wrong to say of the actress turning into a motivational speaker. On November 12, 2019 taking to her Instagram account she recalled of the time she was undergoing cancer treatment in 2018. Sharing a smiling image of her with hubby, she wrote, “This day, last year... we were in New York at the hospital. Since then, the Bendre-Behls have identified two time periods - B.C.
